Our (white) paintwork is covered in a black wash of dirt that hasn't come off with the clay or paint restorer.

I was using tar remover a bit to remove some sticker residue and it seemed to remove this dirt.

Would it be silly to use tar remover/engine cleaner all over the car to get rid of the dirty?

Let me know the results, although I suspect I'll be doing it at the same time as you!

Thought this disolves tar etc? And you had mentioned that tar cleaning agent had worked...

I've got the jetwash already, so I might just get one, makes it alot easier with hardly any need for a mit/sponge (apparently)

Any other advise on this?
