Most people seem to rate Glyptone leather care products on here. Have yet to use it myself but is supposed to be top stuff.

Didn't have any joy with Maguiars personally, keep meaning to go to a local equestrian place and get some saddle feed, probably better than car stuff

What does it do? Does it nourish or coat or what? Also what consistancy is it? I found my Maguiars leather stuff to be like a cream and it didn't soak in very well or buff up nicely- actually it was shiteChemicalAl wrote:Used the Gliptone stuff and wasn't disappointed! Highly recommended!

You get two bottles, one is a wipe on, wipe off cleaner - very easy and does what it should(based on the filthiness of my cloths!!). You then apply the cream leather conditioner which soaks/rubs in nicely without too much effort. It nourishes and gives the leather a good look (not too shiney, not too matt). The best thing about it though, is the way it brings out the smell of new leather (most likely just a fragrance imbedded in the conditioner, but who cares, it works).
'bout £10 from ebay, and as there should be enough for another 3-4 applications over the next 6 months, it's a bargain - £20 a year to keep your leather looking good is a small price to pay!

Blimey sounds a bargin! My leather is rather dry and in some serious need of nourishment before it cracks so thank you very much
