Spray paint cracking prevention

A while ago I spray painted the paintable part of my Tech 1 spoiler and after a month 2 it started to crack all over.

Can anyone tell me the reason why this happened?

Was it not enough prepping? bad paint? not enough paint? no protection?

any help would be good,
