Hi putelectric motor in sunroof (was manual) and the cables have left several marks on headlining any one know of some stuff to clean this up with or has anyone tried painting/ coloring headlinig (currently biege color)

if your going to dye it the grease will need to come of anyway, i use the girlfriends vax wet vac carpet cleaner in my car and its surprising how many stains come out with it. maybe worth borrowing one if you dont have one yourself

Try brake cleaner..(its dry cleaning fluid)

thanks brake cleaner first then vax wet vac been looking at the carpet die thread may try that ,worried about getting a good coverage
