Hardtop

When you buy a hardtop how do they go on the convertibles? connected by two pins?

this is by no means a technical explanation.
the hardtop has 2 rotating pins at the rear of the hardtop that drop into the framework, once in these are rotated and secured... there are rotating handles at the front of the hardtop which secure the hardtop to the front window frame. windows up and you should have a secure/watertight e30.
