Anyone got any ideas how to cure a whine on a diff on my 320i 2 door restoration project...
Im rebuilding an entire rear axle set up with discs (off the car - bought it off ebay) to replace the current drum version which is still on the car. If anyone wants the rear axle with drums when we do the swap over...let me know.

ive got a whine on my 325i, i was told that they normally whine if the diff oil needs topping up or changing but if it still occurs then dont worry they will whine for thousands of miles without breaking.hth.
