Has anyone got any inside tips for blackening ( bad english...sorry ) the tyre wall.
I refuse point blank to use tyre paint ( tyre paint , its as bad as garlic bread ).
I spoke to a guy at a garage and he refused to tell me his secret of what he uses.
cheers

nver used or seen autoglym tyre black so i wouldn't know, this stuff is good though, and you need to use very little of it.

Yeah thats what i used to use when i had a car worth looking after keeps them black without making them too shinyFBF wrote:boot polish
silicone spray would do a good job but be careful not to get it on the tread as it wont wash off in a hurry! (few quid in halfrauds, its for maintaining window seals, boot seals etc, meant to stop rubber perishing anyway)

Autoglym Tyre Dressing. Have used it for a number of years now. If correctly applied will give superb results. Spray on, leave 3-5 mins and wipe over using a cloth. Be careful though as residue can run down and stain the drive way.
