I am restoring the paint work on my brilliant red e30 and now ive got to the wingmirrors.

Whats the best stuff to use to get them back to red as they look a bit silly compared to the rest of the car. I have been using the autogleam paint renovator to bring the paint back but dont think it will work very well on the wing mirrors.

Wot do people recomend, or should i just get them resprayed?

Cheers

I'd try the Auto-Glym; though I don't know the product you are using, the ordinary Resin Polish has a slight 'cutting' effect and will remove some of the oxidised layer. Otherwise T-cut will do the same but slightly harsher/better?

If you are thinking of respraying, it doesn't matter what happens :D
