Jon,

Have you written an idiots guide?.

With the steps to using Zaino products from start to finish.

I'm thinking of buying the 'Ultimate kit' from our friends over the pond.

Cheers Gareth.

Sorry, I thought the link was to the US.

Is this a good place to start, expensive but - comes highly recommended?.

Can you recommend a product to clean the Vinyl hardtop.

A proper Macau finish is required on me paint.

Everyone seem's to be using this stuff, I better join the party.

I bought a Auto-Glyn convertible roof kit yesterday, from the frauds. But having read through the postings this morning, maybe its going back unused.

gazza zaino is the dogs mate, it really really is.

It seems expensive but you use alo less that autoglym. Zaino uses very very little and it is very little effort to take of wheras with autoglym you get a real workout and it still leaves all that residue crap.

There is a guide on here for us idiots, that jon wrote, just cant find it. But its a must MUST read.

the auto-glym soft-top kit is excellent.

Everyone has a go at auto-glym, but on the soft-top it is excellent - the cleaner really cleans, and the sealant really seals and lasts a year - mine is still 'beading' in the rain, and that is soft-top OR hardtop..

I don't think I needed to use the cleaner on my hardtop, only the sealant.

now I'm confused - your sig-pic doesn't have a vinyl hardtop - you've got a painted one

It's a vinyl covered hard-top - the sig is a mock up.

I rate the Autoglym cleaner - and their leather feed. Both good products.

I bought the Zaino kit recommended by Jon.
I was using Meguiars .... this stuff is in a completely different league.

I spent nearly a day and a half doing the car and the paintwork looks absolutely amazing.
I will post some pictures when the rain stops and the sun comes out.

ok thats a clearer picture

this is what i would go for

zpc for swirls

z1 polish lok

z5 pro (new out and its amazing)

z7 car wash

z8 finale spray(increases depth and wet look 5 fold)

z16 tyre dressing (the best out there)

z18 (clay as car will have a lot of contamination after that time)

with this lot you will be able to achieve an amazing finish
