Iv got an indigo cab carpet that has rust marks and stains all over it. Someone had left tools in the footwells and they have rusted and stained the carpet badly. Any advice on products that may remove the stain? Or at least make it less noticeable.

As its a rare carpet colour I doubt it will be easy to find another.

Any thoughts?

Lemon juice with the active ingredient being citric acid should get rid of the rust staining. Although I would definitely check by leaving a little bit in an inconspicuous area to see if it doesn't harm the carpet first. I would also Google rust stains on carpet and see what comes up.

Ok thanks that sounds like a nice simple solution instead of expensive cleaners that don't work.

And google is a good plan.

water, lemon juice and bicarbonate of soda mixed with lots of elbow grease, failing that 1001 Stain Remover (spray) should work, your 2 cheapest options.
