Invest in some Autoglym HD Wax. Its dear to begin with but lasts forever, I've had my pot going on 3 years now. You'll be never look back

The simoniz diamond wax that tesco sell very cheap is also great for a quick shine up. It's very easy to use but wears off after a few washes.

Is it the gold tin carnauba wax ? If do that's the best longest lasting protection wax I've used, ball ache to do the whole car properly but it's well worth it, better than liquid waxes

The problem with waxes is that they are often kept in a cold garage and they are applied to thickly

I keep mine in the kitchen and apply 2 think layers

I do try warm it up but it is thick stuff , but better than liquid wax ? Awsome protection and beading

Warming it up can fuck up and make it separate

At room temp it should be soft enough to get it onto a foam applicator. For a good durable wax I use collinite 476.

I have a meguires liquid was whichninhave used several times. If I wasn't to keep a car easy to maintain then that's the best thing to use or a synthetic sealant like AG Extra gloss protection ( there is far more advanced stuff available like wolfs hard body )

Its good stuff but as you said is not very easy to use, it can take a bit of effort to remove.

Apply using a Meguiars or similar wax applicator pad, misted with QD spray and lightly wipe over the wax and apply in very thin layers. It does last well and gives a good gloss, its a recomended product but you have to be patient and dedicated to use it as it can dry very quickly and be difficult to remove.

Colinite 476 is more expensive but easier to use and generally gives better results when layered (an applied in the same way). My standard offer for my customers is either a double layer of Colinite 476 or Autosmart Carnauba Gold, I have the Simoniz in my kit bag but tend to use that on alloys, exhausts tips etc.
