Collinite 476 is very durable and works on top of super resin polish

Hi Paul, if your car has been polished by hand or machin with G3, this is quite an aggressive compound and will really need refining with a more finishing product, or it will likely have quite a lot of holograms visible in direct sunlight. IPA or a pre wax cleanser will also be useful to remove any polishing oils prior to applying a wax or sealant. This will allow the product to bond far better and hugely increase the durability.
Not trying to be negative as i'm sure it was a lot of hard work, just trying to advise to help you. Last time i saw you were about to have the car painted, its nice to see you have tried this route first. So much can be achieved with tired paint before painting is needed

^^ this no nonsense paint protection, if your happy with the finish then leave it and don't polish it any more if not a finishing polish and pad may improve the gloss, just bear in mind that you are removing paint colour.Kos wrote:Collinite 476 is very durable and works on top of super resin polish

Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection, as above. Two coats if you can be ar*sed.
Two headblenders, couple of bags of MC Hammer, 5 litres of FFF, a 48ft bastard, a box of jumped-up custard and some soggy chimps
G3 is not that great. You need to go over the top with a fine finishing polish before applying anything else. Then choose a sealent, Glaze or wax, Colinite 476 is good, even Simoniz paste wax gives good results but is harder to use. For a sealent you can get good results with GTechniq C1.5 Silo Seal (very very good), mist on, wipe and buff. AG Extra Gloss is not too bad a sealent, but best to apply to leave to cure for 30mins and remove, plus give 2 coats, on the plus side its cheap, easy to apply and does last, i would still top up with a wax to give a better gloss.
AG SRP is not a wax or sealent, its a polish which includes fillers, when you use it, wash the car a couple of times and all the fillers are removed and the paint defects re-appear hence why you need a wax or sealant.
Don't be temped by Supagard or Diamondbrite unless you know what you are doing as if applied incorrectly you will totally ruin your paintwork.
