No contest mate. Aytoglym is nowhere near the same league as Maguires. Fantastic results and easy to use.
Jon has pesuaded me to try Zaino. Apparently it's even better than Maguires so i bout Ԛ£180 woth of stuff the other day. Will try it when the weather gets a bit warmer

ben you wont regret it
iam prepping a sport evo on sunday and i will take sum b4 and after pics
its getting the zaino treatment
autoglym is the work of the devil!!!!!
its terrible stuff
it sells due to glossy adverts in all the mags and its availability everywhere
but now meguiars etc are becoming more readily available
there is no contest between the two

Agreed. Autoglym isn't the best stuff in the World by a long shot.
I now use Meguiars (when I've got a decent car to use it on) and sometime in the future, when my Meguiars is running low, I'll upgrade to Zaino...

zaino is incredible
its american
its only been available here for about 12 months
there is only one official supplier in uk
all below are zaino finished cars

you only get out what you put in and zaino takes time BUT its very very easy to use
meguiars is in a different class to autoglym
zaino is in another to meguiars tho they do make some good stuff and for speed vs results you have to say they perform well but zaino is a cut above
its not the cheapest but having used most stuff available here and in states its amazing
if you go here#
http://www.advancedcarproducts.com/index.asp?id=1
two guys run the company
both fans of e30s
both have not long sold e30 m3s
if u type in e30zone on order form it will give u 5 percent discount

Im in the process of getting me some zaino, but mostly i use the meguiars pro range. Bought me a meguiars porter cable (basically a rebranded porter cable) and a lot of the pro range and they work pretty well at taking out some defects and making the car shiney.
Heard zaino is the way forward tho so im gonna be trying it in the near future. But i would say AG bumper and tyre gel out shines anything megs has to offer in that dept, but thats about the only thing that beats meguiars.

allan are you on about the rechargable orbital that meguiars do??

Please dont ask Jon for tips cause he will spend hours writing you a whole book with links and even how to kiss your car goodnight. Most helpful fella i know

you really can't beat that zaino shine

Wow. That looks fantastic Mr Gates. I'm really excited now cause if Zaino can do this for 15 year old cars, imagine the shine i'll get on mine which was only resprayed a year ago
Dippa i'm not so big now. A combination of woman problems and no food that i like in Italy has seen me drastically lose weight
I cant wait till the summer when i'm done here and can come home and enjoy the comforts that has to offer. Saying that i may be off to the frozen debths of Russia too. Ho well. One day i'll come home and enjoy the comforts of home and a few nice Kingston ladies

Italy is freezing at the moment. We had really heave snow here a couple of days ago. Cause Milan is near the Alps, you get the cold wind blowing over too, so it's bitterly cold at the moment.
I've been told to stay away from any polishing machine. Kandy paint is so soft that if an inexperinced person like the i use one on my car, i'm likely to see primer when i'm done
My painter has kittens everytime i mention it

oh right, best stick to the microfibre then

The 1st thing people ask me at shows is how i keep the car so shiney and that's using the Maguire's stuff, so Zaino will leave people speechless. I've been told by the chaps at advanced car care (Jon put me onto them) that if i like the results i get from Zaino, they'd be able to sort me out with whatever i need. Seems a fair deal cause at the moment, Maguires has nearly every top show car in the UK in it's pocket including myself. If Zaino is to take a share of the market or even most of the market, then they will need guys like myself who go to shows to plug them. If they get a handful of sales from every show i go to, then they've covered any discount they give me 100 times over. Even if the give me the stuff free, it will be worth it cause it's free advertising for them and further more, i'm taking their product directly to the target group so you know business will be generated from it, so it's a win, win situation for both of us. I get to hopefully thrash Jons backside and win Best Paint at every show i go to
and they get to have their product out to the general public

Is it only available online, or do shops sell it ?

Halfords, although they dont do the entire range. Log onto the Maguire site and use their dealer location to find the one nearest to you

I dont think they are standard dude. Looks proper fat. I bloody crunched one of mine the other day on a curb outside my house and i have even done 50 miles on them yet

Also on where you live, which is why i said just look on their site and use their dealer locater

John, you have the best wheels for the M3, and in the best colour combination in my opinion. My Evo2 has BBS RS's 16", with nogaro centers, but need refurbing. Anyway, thats another story, and you'll see it tomorrow.
Looking forward to you detailing the sport tomorrow too.
