Watching with interest to see if anyone else has a good way to clean them up.
I tried using 3m fastcut compound on a rag and rubbed like a swear word for about 10 minutes over the top of the passenger door. It has come up a bit no doubting, but not looking like it should do.
So if theres a zoner in the know may him speak wisely about the chromie matter!

I recently bought some ofthe T cut metal polish and it works a treat I found with all the chrome. I mean, its a pain in the arse and takes ages, but it works. Removes all the white hazing marks... Do it in sections and just work your way along. Spend a good few hours at it and it will be shining.
I'm gonna finish mine soon on the next sunny/ish day. i'll get some pictures.

Thats pointless, i paint cars for a living and like you said - its a nightmare. I think 1500 sandpaper and a mop from work will do my chromie crazing madnessm8782538 wrote:can always use primer filler and chrome paint, but you will have to have a totally smooth blemish free surface or the chrome paint will look crap.
