Watching with interest to see if anyone else has a good way to clean them up.

I tried using 3m fastcut compound on a rag and rubbed like a swear word for about 10 minutes over the top of the passenger door. It has come up a bit no doubting, but not looking like it should do.

So if theres a zoner in the know may him speak wisely about the chromie matter!
I'll check with the manager

have you tried 2500 grit sandpaper followed by 3000 grit and then autosol.i would think this would do the trick nicely.maybe try it on a unnoticable bit of trim first mind

I recently bought some ofthe T cut metal polish and it works a treat I found with all the chrome. I mean, its a pain in the arse and takes ages, but it works. Removes all the white hazing marks... Do it in sections and just work your way along. Spend a good few hours at it and it will be shining.

I'm gonna finish mine soon on the next sunny/ish day. i'll get some pictures.

is it not anodised ? normal polish will not work.

rubbing it 3000 went n dry and using autosol after wont to much apart from give it a brushed alloy look.

mine chrome trim is being sanded down at the moment, then primer filler and a can of satin black. (missing the trim on one side) so nice and easy doing just the one side.

can always use primer filler and chrome paint, but you will have to have a totally smooth blemish free surface or the chrome paint will look crap.

Thats pointless, i paint cars for a living and like you said - its a nightmare. I think 1500 sandpaper and a mop from work will do my chromie crazing madness
