most of the paint on my car is in pretty good cond but the passenger door is really dull compared to the rest of the car and there are a couple of patches where its really faded (turning white).



Is there anything i can buy or do to try and get the colour and shine back apart from having the panel resprayed.

g3 and mop the car

is that as easy as it sounds i dont wanna make it any worse.
i seen it done on tv it looked pretty straight forward.

i take it it is metallic
id suggest that panel may well have been painted at some time

try a product called p21s paint cleanser

this will remove any oxidised paint/laquer

this may well do the job

if it improves things but not entirely then id suggest using a stronger product such as g3 as richy suggests
but apply and remove both by hand if you havent used a mop/orbital before as incorrect use can cause "burn"

always use the mildest product first and work up to the most abrasive until you achieve what you are looking for
