Hi guys,

Still cracking on with my Tech 1 Sport restoration and its about time I tackled the wheels. I need to get them shot blasted and repainted but I'm not sure what the original BMW colour was for the BBS's on a Tech 1 Sport???? Any ideas.

I remember reading somewhere that they were finished in a specific BMW shade but can't remember what it was?

Also, I want to replace the original charcoal and silver pin stripes down each flank once the car's been painted. Anyone know a supplier for the original stuff or at least a very good copy as I don't think BMW hold them anymore?

Sorry guys, just stumbled accross the answer for the wheels in another thread, its Polaris Silver.

Would love some help on the pinstripe issue though!

They are Dekor 7 - silver and black (51141933379) if this helps.

I ordered the wrong ones (dekor 5 - 51141933377 (black and grey)). Be careful though as the 'wrong ones' were not the best as they had been lying around in stock for a while.

Excellent! So BMW do still do them then.

I was all set to carefully remove a piece and have some made up special.

Cheers
