I have tried to clean what i can and where I can reach. So far just the washer bottles and coolant..are there any companies that do showroom engine clean anywhere? under the car wouldnt be a bad idea too as long as it doesnt cost me an absolute fortune. I hear its not good for the engine to have it cleaned??

It's ok to have your engine cleaned it just has to be done properly, you have to cover certain electrical things up woth foil or plastic bags to stop water getting in and not to use high pressure jet wash.

I dont want to do it myself I would love for a company to take the whole engine apart clean it then put it back together again but then there is always that worry inthe back of my mind that something aint going to work right if i do find someone.. so am having second thoughts as afew valeting places have advised me not to :?
