I've been poking around in my new touring and there seems to be a distinct lack of any radio loom. I think the previous owner took it all with him along with the stereo...

I know this is a bit of a "length of string" question, but how much should I be looking at for someone to install the speaker cables, (front, rear and tweeter pods) and set me up with an ISO plug to put a modern unit in? Im not looking at £50/metre speaker cable or anything extravagent, but I do like some music in the car :)

Or, alternatively, would anyone near York like the job?
Cheers

just done the same thing myself and its really quite easy, if you take out the glovebox and covers behind it then the center consol, you can get really good access to the rear of the stereo. a few hours work and will save you money you can spend on having the speakers proffessionally installed (which makes all the difference).

I found a live, switched live and earth all connected to a scotch block but shoved right back behind the steering column, you may be lucky as well and find the leads you need tucked away somewhere. all you need to test them is some wire and a 5vbulb.

Ive found the e30 very diy friendly in that respect
