Where does the positive lead for the Headunit terminate on a 1991 318is?

I've just been having a look at the rats nest of wiring behind the glove box where some knacker installed an alarm at some point.

I've tried to trace the positive wire to see why theres no power b it seems to run with the negative and ariel under the centre console and under the car where the handbrake is :?

I thought that these wires ran to the white terminal block behind the glovebox bu now i'm not so sure

can anyone shed any light ?

Cheers

you are prob best off starting again with the wiring, hopefully ur radio lead( the one that runs to behind the glovebox) wont be too butchered and thaat you can still salvage that. the wiring harness is only for power connections btw, has a constant live, switched live, earth and a feed for the illumination (to dim the backilghts on stereo when vehicle lights are on)

thats the thing I'm not sure about, the live/negative doesnt go behind the glovebox but under near the handbrake

I'll get a pic in a bit so you can see what I'm up against

Was playing with the ariel on my car the other day, the ariel lead in mine has a red and black wire attached to power the either an ariel amplifier or motor? neither was present in my car d'oh...
Do you think this may be the wire that you are looking it? would explain why there is no power.
