I need to route new cables from my head unit to the rear of my touring. What's the best way to route them?

where do the cables go once they reach where the centre channel meets the seat shelf? I had a heck of a time trying to see if cabling will fit through there.

I just fit chunky rear speaker cables and a disk changer lead in the drivers side sill no problems.
