Sony Multi CD Player

I have a Sony set up in my car but the head unit which should control radio, mini disc & CD stack functions displays RESET when I try to use the CD stack.
I've reset the head unit but the same occurs when I again try to use the CD function,
Any ideas, is there a seperate reset on the stack system ??

check the multi plug connection to the back of the hu and the back of the cd changer first off, as the hu powers the cd changer on sony units.

Also r u running a cd changer and mini disc changer??

No,
The mini disc is part of the head unit, not a seperate changer,
Both units are Sony with outputs on the HU to power / control CD stack.
