Ok at long last I have completed my cab install I'm really pleased ith how neat it is and how crisp clear it is.

The Hertz speaks are wicked bit of kit, I have ound that the BMW tweeter pods make a world of difference because they are at the correct angle for the sounds.

I had a slight issue in the rear due to the mounting depeth of the speakers, at present there fitted but im gonna put some dynamat behind them just to ensure no panel interferance.

As for the Bass, who said u cant get good bass from a cabby, Boody hell i really didnt expect great things, But I was in shock when i first powered it all up, the rear leather flexs when the subs drop and I was shaking my house whilst being parked on the drive way even the door kocker was tapping on the door, So im well pleased

Pic's to follow, Remember though its not a flashy install with loads of fibreglass or anything like that just neat and tidy so if u look inside u dont see nothing

Have you got any pics of your install yet?

Can i ask what setup you used to get decent bass into the car.

Cheers

 ill get some pics over the weekend, nothing special really just neat and tidy (stealth) and bloody loud but clear

Both amps mounted to the rear seat metal work and the sub box pushed back as far as possible using quick connection so i can lift out the box when i want

Using the stock tweeter pods with my new tweeters and the speakers all in standard location with a pioneer HU, Ipod and CD Changer too

Ha ha, true - but i've always found it a real pain to stop the plate vibrating on a 2/4 door!!!!!

Mine is gonna be done asap when the car is back on the road, but think i'm gonna have some custom builds up front!!!! Deffo needed for the 8" bass cones in the doors, but unsure whether to have the mids and tweets in the standard position, or have a clever build to optimise the sound!!!
