I just can't look at them any more, I installed them a few weeks ago, in a short time they were fine but now they look to bright, just don't suit the car lige amber one does, looks too modern. A couple of friends told me they might be good on silver cars but on black...hmm...not.
So I decided to get rid of them, and today I got new shipment, a real smoked ones, apsolutely street legal.
INPRO, made in Germany, grey - 25EUR
they are made of HQ plastic, with rubber around to prevent water coming in,
and inside they are amber a little (i think it's a cover, can be removed), and the most important thing: they produce such a nice light, very very nice.
Now the car looks proper!
What do you think guys? good or bad move?

I Like it. I just got some clear lenses for my cab, but now I am thinking smoked lenses are the way to go. Where did you get them from?

I ordered them in my local tuning shop, which is main dealer for INPRO.FlappySocks wrote:I Like it. I just got some clear lenses for my cab, but now I am thinking smoked lenses are the way to go. Where did you get them from?

i had a similar thing and went for clear, but if you must put smoked on then look at the small details like get some black screws to hide them better, or paint em black.... i have got the clear ones but i ''experimented'' with half black bulbs, they loose that orange fried egg look cause by orange bulb with clear lense but unfortunately they also make the indicator dim, here no one cares but in UK the plod would probably pull you for it, but the look is good, kind of smoked clear lenses... i will dig out a picture to show you what i mean. but i personally think on mine the clear look better...

no need they are pricey for a silver coated bulb, as i said you spray half the bulb black with heat resist paint, the flash is still orange, but the relfection appears blackBananaman wrote:They look a lot better, but agree with mrlee30 on the egg comment, i think they would look even better with either 'philips silver vision' or 'osrams diadem' indicator bulbs.
i will post soem pics and you can decide
