I've got to get around to making a few changes this year and have been dithering about whether to leave the front/side indicators and rear light clusters as they are, go for clear at the front, or smoked all round. I'm slightly in favour of smoked because 1) Clear is everywhere and 2) With the delphin grey body colour, I reckon it would look pretty good.

If I did go that route, just how legal are smoked rear clusters or the front indicators for that matter? I've seen a few about that are so so dark, I'm sure they would eventually attract the attention of our local Devon plods.

smoked route is the way to go

look at d6dphs car he recently added some smoked front lights to his dolphin grey car, the smoked indicators you get on ebay and around are perfectly legal and you can tint the rear lights yourself along with the fronts.
