Need some help/advice regarding my install.
Headunit: E36/Z3 bmw business cd radio with Dension IceLink Plus unit for ipod connectivity. iPod in glovebox.
Speakers: 13cm JBL 45W rms coaxil rear speakers and Infinity 50.7cs components for the front (85W rms). Tweeter mounted into standard location next to door mirror.
Question is where would you suggest mounting the cossovers and also will I need an amp for the front speakers, if so where would you recoomend fitting and what power ?
I'd like to keep everything hidden and not visible.
Thanks in advance.

As for the crossovers - just have a poke about and see where they'll fit!! I've got the drivers side one tucked above the panel under the steering wheel. My passenger one is just being kicked around the floor!!!!!!!!! Could easily tuck one away in the glovebox.
If the cables are long enough you could prob put them both under the centre console under the heater controls - dependant on size!!
Would deffo get a better sound from amping the fronts - worth doing in my opinion. What amp depends on your budget and what you want from your system - massive volume or quality?? Stick to a well known brand and you can't go too far wrong - as powerfull as you like really - saves you running it up high and willl give better quality when setup well!!

yeah they work out but they do not have as clear out put, I used opne from motorworld on my Merc head unit with a adjuster knobe, it was about 15 pound they do work
JL Audio and a few other firms now do a decent converter like this

or if u wanna go all out one of these, which is what im running in my clk, it takes a normal speaker connection to the top left and convert into 3 rca connections with good volt holding too
