radio problem !!!

The radio in my 320 will not keep its preset radio stations after the ignition has been turned off and then back on,any help is much appreciated

constant live and ignition switched live are the wrong way around 
Wanted: Any old component speakers, complete or separate parts, let me know what you got

Your live could be dead.
It was like this on my car.
A feed from the battery sorted it though.

^^^^^most head units wont work with just a switched live bud

I said that wrong, I used the live feed from the cigarette lighter.

That isn't a suitable circuit - to high a fuse rating!
Mr onlyme, your radio should have a constant 12V supply and one that switches off with the ignition. It sounds as if the constant 12v suppoy is missing from what you wrote. Get a test light and check it out.

sounds like secondtimelucky's spot on. i used to work at halfords and if that happend after we fit a stereo, jus switch the two wires around!constant live and ignition switched live are the wrong way around
