I bought some CCFL rings a while ago but still aint put them in.
I have been thinkin about gettin a HID kit and prob will, but want to make sure that the angel eyes will show up/work with the HIDS in too.
Will the HIDS be too bright and make the angel eyes unnoticable?
Or will they show up fine?

I wouldn't bother with the angel eyes....just fit the HID kit...will make you car look classy, and actually improve visibility.
If you do fit the angels, then i suppose the high beam one's would show, but the main beam's wouldn't matter as the HID's are bright and you wouldn't want to look into them anyway.

on my last e36 i had some projector shrouds to make the ccfl's stand out. all it needs to do is keep any light from your hid's coming out of the projector only.
if you look at the guide on here for smoked hella's it would be very similar to that idea
like this...without the shrouds the hids would drown out the ccfl's

Where did you get your CCFL's from? They look great!shedrool83 wrote:here's what it looks like
The ones I find look like halogens in comparison. I have 10,000K HID's so I'm avoiding anything seriously below this.

10,000k might be to bright for the angel eyes unless the HIDs look is quite blue

I still have them Jake, but feel they need to be brighter (like yours)
There too "orange"(like a tungsten light bulb) for my liking, and could be doing with a little upgrade
