Do seats from any of the other BMW models fit the E30?
Just wondering as ive got a dodgy back and wouldnt mind some new stuff - if it fits. Also it seems the cost of E30 seats is higher than other stuff available from breakers, dont mind the Ԛ£Ã”šÃ‚£ except Im not sure if they were that great to start with and after 15+ years of use there usually worn.
thanks,
ade

Hi mate get the recaro sport seats. I've got the leather ones and they are the only seats I can actually be comfortblae in for 3 hours. My dad has a bad back too and fcukin loves them. Every one who gets in the car comments on how comfotable they are, compared to the original standard cloth seats. One of my mates at uni's dad used to be an F2 driver and now deals in 80's & 90's Lambos Ferraris etc.... but still drives his 325i touring, he reckons the sports seats are the most cofortable of any car he has ever driven.

you can use ford rst recaro`s but they will need brackets making up for the runners, i did this b4 on my old 320i and it worked well.

Ive got some corbeau carrera recliners for sale if your interested. Theyre black and brand new...All you would need to is make some brackets out of angle iron or similar to match them to the subframes off the old seats and ull be away

Hows about some elecrically ajustable ones from a 5 or 7 series. Take a lot of hassle to make it possible to get in the back though.

These are leather retrimmed cobras in my every-day car - the e30 325 baur cabrio

These are very comfy and i'm planning to move them to my project car
And these ar the recaros from cossie in my project car

These are even more comfy than the cobras but the cobras looks better.

I've got the BMW Recar sport seats in grey, really want an M3 rear bench to match. But I do love having a rear arm rest.

Fair enough, they're fcukin comfortable on long journeys.
I've just heard lots of people refering to them as recaros.

I'ts a pitty but in my country rollcages are restricted on street cars, I can have the rollcage but then my car will count as a sports car and the roll cage and all the other parts will have to be homologated (sorry 4 spelling, i'm not sure it's the right word). Sadly we still have many foolish laws in our countryWidge wrote:The cobras lookk fukin A man, sweet. Would look even better with a roll cage, and a fire extinguisher

How much do BMW recaros and sports seats cost currently?
Do 5 series or E36 seats bolt straight in?

I paid Ԛ£250 for my grey leather interior, but I think that is a bit below the odds now, even thought it was only at christmas. Seats like mine tend to go for Ԛ£300-500 now, that's for a whle interior inc door cards.

e30 interiors sell for between Ԛ£50 and Ԛ£500 depending on spec and
condition.
i`ve seen M3 Evo Leather Interior sell for Ԛ£750 before now, as thats as rare as hens teeth
the e34 and e36 seats may fit i have never tried but i`m pretty sure you would need to modify the runners and fit new brackets
