The daft one first: the front valance under the bumper has an elongated blanking 'plate', which sort of annoys me. Does that blanking plate really have to be there or can I open it up?
I don't want to go full kit on the car, but feel that adding side skirts might be a sensible and subtle option. An MTech1 boot spoiler was fitted from new, so I suppose MTech1 skirts would be more authentic. Would they fit my post face-lift?
Couple of questions

On the 320 it wasn't required as the 320 has no oil cooler. The 325 has these blanks "open" due to the fact it does have an oil cooler.
No harm IMO in opening them up.
No sure how Tech 1 skirts would look without the Tech 1 front valance.
