I just picked up my Mtech II kit yesterday, and last night i noticed that some things didn't line up just right on my 4 door
for instance
the side skirts look like the bolt to the inside of the front fender? my fender is one piece all the way to the bottom of the rocker pannel.
when trying to fit the fender side pod, the part that wraps around the back of the fender (next to the door) makes contact with the unibody, thus not allowing the pins that used to hold the rub strips line up correctly.
and how do the door pods attach to the bottom of the door? the door looks like rolled metal, and the door pod has a good 1/2 inch lip on the bottom/underside of the pod.
thanks for your help

have you got an original bmw kit or a fibreglass replica? it will fit like a glove if its original.

I was thinking it's more of a Tech-1 as he describes the sideskirts, as they have a bit that goes in the wing.

I had a look at a few pieces last night, it looks like the fender pod just sits on top of the fender, not hooking around the back of the fender between the fender and the door.
It also looks like i'm going to need to drill the fender to completely mount the sideskirt, correct?
on the front bumper, do i just attach the lower MtechII valence to the actual bumper and call it a day, or do i remove the previous lower valence, and then install the new tech II bumper/valence combo?
