there should be connections for a power, earth and remote wire. you need to run the power from the battery with an in line fuse (near to the battery) an earth (shorter the better) and a remote wire from the back of the head unit.you will also need to run your rca cables from the headunit to the amp (some rca's have a remote cable joined to them). and then its just a case of connecting your speaker cables making sure you connect the right way round (i.e negative to negative)
hopefully you will have an amp wiring kit, if not buy one as they will have a brief diagram on the back of the box.

depending on your head unit you should have a remote out wire usually taped up (possibly blue) if not you can use your power ariel wire of the head unit. your rca leads would be best plugged into your rear rca output on the stereo.
some headunits will only have one output some can have three front/rear and sub, just be carefull not to plug it into an input for another source like a multichanger.
