I want to re-do my headlamp rings satin black. The last ones I did the paint came off and someone (not here) said I should have used etch primer.

Make sure you 'key' the surface with a bit of 1500 - 2000 wetordry / scotchbrite... Although the etch will eat in to it

also could be called washprimers if you cant find etch
