Just an update here. there's a post in engine conversions on my fitting of the rad last weekend.

here's the link.
http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name ... ic&t=81904

trying to make space at mo etc, so fitting alot of parts i have that have been sat around, or recently arrived after chasing them up.

I had my brother come over and professionally clean the old carpet up, cutting costs on having a new one or cover made, and as it didn't cost so much, i was much more enthusiastic about it!

Before.

There is some damp on the back end that unfortunetly got trapped and i forgot about. Most of the staining behind the drivers rear has come out now, and i will drying this out properly hopefully this weekend.

now to fit some of the leather bits back from re-trim.

had to get these fitted,

had a company do it. I would love to recommend them, but come february they will have taken 2 years in total. having had to thereaten them with court letters, the original re-trimmer dying (sadly this is actually true) etc, and me being entrely too patient. hoping to have the wrapped up within a month. Re-trim job is top notch.

seats are non bonded cheapo's from ebay. if you get a cheap seat to have it re-trimmed make sure the material is not bonded to it. some re-trimmers will refuse to do it.

Universal brackets. I cut and chopped the brackets etc fine, the seats are a 100% amazing fit, as they nearly skim the centre tunnel, and the door card.

car is being put back together for asap road use, so not even a proper spray job. Then hopefully next winter seats come out, and things are done properly (i miss having her on the road alot).

at the same time i will weld the seat brackets up, although this is voerkill, but then again the whole car is massive overkill. Except one thing. Styling. it won;t have stickers all over, pink windscreen wipers etc. it will literally be my m3 kitted metal covnersion, and everything else of this: -
