anyone know of any way of improving the sound from an e30 touring ive just ordered my components for the front and removed my rear speker bins yesterday, but what could i replace them with, does anyone make adapters for them

if u dont want your speakers on show u can make mdf rings that sit under the grilles and screw the speakers into those, then nobody is any the wiser

cheers guys i take it there is no point in replacing the 4inchers in the bins then

Not really mate,they are way too small to get really good sound from.A custom install is what you need,as said some mdf rings hidden under grills could work or if you want to go really silly-

Ive no boot space but the sound is fantasic

there
More than does the job with my surround sound setup
