Probably won't need spacers if they are meant for the E30...and 15x9 BBS usually are made for these cars being that wide in low ET offsets.

Should be around ET15- ET10 with that width.

If the offset is higher like ET30 or something..then you should definately get spacers.

My 17x7 wheels were ET37 for a 325iX acutally...bout them new..but somhow they gave me the E30 iX offset which is ET38 if I rememer correctly.

I actually drove around for a month with ET37 and there was no rubbing..but the wheels looked like they tucked inward (because of such a high offset) (E30 stock wheels such as 14x6 bottlecaps use ET35.)

Wasn't a probem for me cos the wheel was only 7 inches wide.

I got E30 spec hubcentric H&R wheels spacers- size 15mm.

My offset was now ET22. Looked perfect!

I have some before and after photos...with/without spacers...but I'm too lasy to search for them now being almost 3am here in the states. Let me know if you want to see the pics though I'll find em' and put em' up...

-Sometimes I put the spacers on my bottlecaps to give it a nice ET20 offset..looks beefy.

Take care
-Jimmy

From a purely technical/anal point-of-view, 9" rims on a 4-stud E30 should be et0.

Zizzle,

Did you find out the ET offset of these wheels?
That's the most important thing ...& yeah as mentioned the lower the offset the better with 15X9

I've never fitted 9's, so I can't be 100% on this, but you could have a clearance issue with et25, which would mean you'll need spacers - possibly as thick as 25mm.

Being a new comer to E30's I dont know the stock width's/offset etc, but if you do, use driftworks offset calculator to work out if you will have clearance issues :)

I've had a look on my BBS's, and they're 6.5J Et30

So a 9J with ET0 will be 1.25mm closer to the suspension etc, but will stick out 61.25mm further.

I dont know how much clearance there is inside the arch's with stock 14's, but I would imagine you could get away with slightly higher offset than ET0, possibly ET10-15
