Im looking at gettin some mirrors to smarten up my car, which are the nicest do you think? I like the m3's and dtm's

i agree. the sleeker aerodynamically shaped mirrors dont sit well with the boxy e30 design.
original colourcoded imo.

Originals are good but.....the wee dtm ones are quite nice tbh. Dont care much for M3 mirrors!

I like the std ones, however I think that both the M3 and the DTM look good too. One snag though as Ive recieved conflicting reports about the DTM being more for show as they dont allow you to see very much.
Has anyone tried the E39 M5 mirrors on an E30? Would they fit ?

dtm mirrors = bye bye rear veiw. the mirrors in them are far too small.

acs ones are the best tho i reckon.. rare as tho
i like the shape of the standard mirrors, they are just too big for my liking

passenger one was the same but smaller couold this be done

yes but saying that you have the look of dtm size and the squareness of the original ,
was just a thought someones already probably cut one in half an tried it looked crap thats y you dont see modded versions
but like a say was just a thought who knows may never have bin done an we`ll see one soon ????

My merc cossie has the little stumpy mirror and it's rubbish don't bother !! save the time and effort ! I'd like to see that biker/child/old biddy on my outside thanks

leave standard if you havent got a body kit but i've seen quit a few sports with m3 mirrors that look quite nice

what about E46 SQUARE wing mirrors that have the autofold option......they are boxy and look a tad different
Or maybe even the E39/E46 M5/M3 mirrors?

this is now...

much better imo
if you have to change em, pay the money cos cheapies look so bad trust me
