Seriously, don't lower it 60mm. I did that once. It makes it handle very well, but if you loose the back end, it fishtales like mad, and you've got a slim chance of keeping it on the road.

Also, you will kill the inside of your rear tyres, not to mention, that the suspension always looks like its sagged.

With a tiny bit of mallet work you should get them to rn without scrubbage.

I'm running a 40mm drop, on 225/35/18's on the 325i cab and with a little work got that to 0 scrubbage.

my bro's cab is 60mm all round....

while he had his bbs's on he had no problems....but he's now put 9j borbet a's on, and does get sone scrubbing. I'd say you'd have only slight arch work needed if that!

I would reconsider the 60mm rear though....car sits on the ground, and means you can't get 4 adults in the car or it'll scrape everywhere you go!!!

I'd do 60/40...probably going to lift the back up 20mm on ours!

When u say arch work do u mean heating up the inner arch and using a mallet to tap it a bit ?

i had 60mm all round on my 318i mtec cabby ( neon blue one ) an with 8x17 alpina's on and i had no problems at all... it does depend on wat quality suspension u are goin for ... i did two lots and the first lot ( cheapy shite ) did rub with 4 adults and with hard driving but i sent them back and got a set of bilstein shocks and iirc H&R springs whihc were much betetr quality and have progressive springs so nice comfy drivre btu firm up when u give it some and i got little to no rubbing at all, only got rubbing when i was blasting down very un even country tracks with 3 or 4 ppl in the car

have the alighment sorted as soon as u lower it and that should save some tyres , i used to go threw a pair a month but i was playing on private roads alot

my cabby is 40mm on the rear and it looks ace.... even better when people are in the rear.....

ive got 17's on mine (original alpinas) and dont ever get rubbing!

im telling the truth when i say ive had 6 people in my car and had no rubbing on a 10mile journey!!!

go for it dude, ull only go 40mm and regret it... go the full 60mm

im thinking bout going down to 60mm!!!
