Minor but very annoying problem - I have fitted a JVC KS-FX222 CD multichanger, all ok except that the electric arial will only retract when ignition is on. If you forget to turn off stereo and wait for arial to retract fully before turning off engine, arial stays at half mast or wherever it happens to be. Kind of kills the point of having a vandal-proof arial. What I want to do is re-wire so arial retracts when ignition turned off. Any ideas from you electrical wizards - (I'm cr*p at electrics!)

i think your problem is that your main aerial power supply is somewhere linked to the ignition, it actually needs power permanently, there is a swtich wire which connects to the stereo electric aerial lead, so it actuates the aerial on radio/or startup, and when the stereo is switched off with or without ignition the voltage to the switched lead is cut, but the aerial can retract is it still powered if you get me!!
