Stereo wiring

I have an 88 e30 Cab, and I am wondering which wires are the ACC the battery and the ground. I think the speakers are hooked up right,the positive to the blue (right), and the negative isnt used.

the reason im posting this is beacuse i only have 5 wires to choose from the brn/blk, violet, white, blue, yellow. those are the only wires i have for the stereo.

Just get a multimeter out & check (or get someone to do it for you). On a car of the e30s age it's the only way to be sure; most have had various stereos fitted & wires changed... & just connecting em up & hoping, is a good way to kill your nice new stereo!

I took the multimeter and checked all of them, I thought I had them all hooked up right but when i turn the stereo on the it will start to read the disk and then power down/ power up and try and read it again....
