My car is lowered 40mm all round on Spax suspension kit.

One of rear shocks has gone and rather than spend £150 on rear replacements I think I'm going to get a completley new kit and drop in 60mm all round.

Can anyone recomeend and decent kit?, looking to spend as little as possible.

Cheers

for less than 150quid you will get only a set of lowering springs (and cheap ones at that) which will be no use to you as you need to change a shock anyway, and lowering on springs only will only achieve a asthetic improvement not a perfromance inprovement. proper lowering must be done with springs and matched shocks, and really eccentric rear bushes.

Either get a new Spax shock or find a scrap sport and nick the rear shock absorbers out of that (they are 15mm lower then standard and a bit stiffer) you will need both sides.
