im going to have a look at a sport this week and if i have it i would like to update the ice with a new stereo with auto changer and one that is compatable with an i pod. also i would like to replace the old speakers with new ones but i want them to look original i don't want to mess about with cutting holes and stuff. how much do you reckon its going to cost and what do you recommend? thanks.

Hiya bud, personal opinion is a big player in this one but since no-one has replied, I will, lol!! Im using In-Phase Audio speakers in my BM at the moment, very good prices and very good quality, look sweet too, bonus!!! Iv always used Pioneer or Alpine stereos, never failed to impress.. All in all if you are going for brand new stuff then you'l be looking at 00 quid for stereo and 100 quid for 4x speakers, you'l want the XT52's all round, have a look on www.inphaseaudio.co.uk

I have a habit of using Alpine head units, some are I pod compatable (or you can get an adapter box).
Always found MB Quart speakers to be quite good and some of the Alpines are/were quite good as well
The only limit is how much £Â£Ã‚£Ã‚£Ã‚£ you want to spend
Better to get a decent h/u now (pref with pre-outs for future expansion) and some decent components in the front to start with.
Then you can satart thinking about the rears and subs ETC
