hi all,
hopefully il be buying above in the next couple of days, i have a few plans and questions, so here goes,
il be looking at lowering it so whats a safe drop to go and what make of shock/springs do you rate?
il be looking to get a nice set of deep alloys, any pics would help, 16", nice and wide, what are my options?
as far as kit goes id like something that looks factory fitted, underestimated but suble, any ideas, pics would help?
what do you guys do about exhaust, full system, manifold, i want something that had a deep rumble but not overly loud?
where do i get this lot from, theres a place about 2 miles from me, gsf in smethwick, any good?

All tourings are facelift 1988 onwards. GSF are used by a lot of people on here, but mainly for standard parts. If I were you I'd get the thing a good going over for rust and worn parts before you start splashing out on the nice bits.

Most people reckon 60/40 f/r drop is the most for a daily driver, using and HnR cupkit. With that drop you'll wear the inside of your rear tyres pretty fast unless you get the camber corrected with eccentric bushes or camber plates. If you want a good exhaust manifold, the zone shop sells a stainless one by BTB which apparently gives good gains.

IMO uprated rollbars/mounts would be the place to start, assuming your springs/shocks are actually in good condition.
