hi: guys
my new e30 has the battery in the boot...
do i connect the earth back to the battery or to the car body??
my cab has the battery in the front and the amp earth wire is connected to the body...

Im pretty sure you can do either...Ive connected some of my earth wiring to the body and some to the battery.....Dont make no difference as long as its getting the connection.
