Its the pearlescent in it gives real sparkle when the sunlight hits it.

Is it a custom, or an actual colour from a manufacturer?
Custom may be hard to match if the need ever crops up!

Most place's will fail to mix 2 batches of pearlescent even if they're mixed at the same time!
Sorry to throw a spanner in the works, but i've seen this happen....someone finds an awesome looking custom colour, but then even the people who supplied it can't create a new batch....and therefore you either can't do any touch-ups/mods (new kits etc), or you have to spray the whole car again! That's unless you like having the panels different colours!
It's also harder to spray, as the flakes need to all land in the same direction, so door's and bonnet etc need to be left on the car, as opposed to removing them when spraying ( which makes it easier, and also enable you to spray the engine bay)!

Please don't let me put you off...just make sure you do your homework, and ensure supply of the colour is available!
If you're after a pearlescent...what most people do is buy a manufacturers colour. Most manufacturer's will have atleast 1 pearlescent colour on their books, and this is not only available readily, but also cheaper in most instances!
That failing, just buy extra

As aceraf said it all makes sense, but even if you get a 'Spare batch' mixed up its only got a pot life of a year or so...
Being a Chromefleck your colour match wouldnt be to much trouble, its the flip 3 stage pearls etc that are the hardest to match.
As long as you get the same type of paint (Brand) you should be fine, try to find a standard issued colour for good measure, anything non standard or modified always means extra arsing around!!

Who made that colour anyway??

interesting colour. i had a custom dark blue pearlescent paint job done on my last project,a 1985 celica.turned purple in the sun .looked good but caused some colour match problems when repairing a little damage.if you cant keep a sample of the paint keep a note of exactly what colours and how much of each went in to make it up.
