I just want to know if I can stuff 16x7 wheels with 205x50ZR16 tires under my '89 Touring with it having 32mm lowering springs. I would apreciate if anyone could share their experience with me on this one. I'm trying to avoid rubbing. Any help on a wheel offset would be great too. Thanks all for looking.

205/50/16 should be fine but the ideal profile would be 205 45 16.

should look good, what wheels you got?

yep - 45 is the ideal profile for 16's and i think this drop is the perfect one for the car.

any lower and it looks gash IMHO !!!

205/50/16 is the profile which gives you BMWs ideal rolling diameter, NOT 45.

Offset should be same on every 7" width rim - 24/25 is perfect, but you should be able to go 5mm each way without rubbing, but no guarantees!

I'm looking into getting the 16x7 Konig Rewinds. I really dig those wheels. I'm trying to go low budget on this though. The 16" Rewinds just came out and the cheapest I've been able to find them is 600 USD plus shipping. They have a varitey of offsets for these wheels: +40mm, +20mm, 00mm and some others. That's why I was asking about offset. Thanks again for everyone's input.

205/50/16 is the correct size for a 16x7 rim, don't believe otherwise
