I'm soon to be putting some borbet A's on my car.
Obviously I will be spraying the centres black, but I kinda like the idea of spraying the dish black too... Maybe have a matt black dish with a gloss black centre.... or vice versa.
Will I be hunted down by purists and burnt at the stake?
I just don't think polished dishes, or anything polished, should go on my car. They would contrast too much with the paint.
Opinions?

I think if you're going to go for a black dish....
then it has to be gloss dish and matt centre...!!!
the dish must be emphasised in some way, and most effective way is to create some sort of reflection..
matt just wouldn't work [IMO]

Do you mean matt black with a gloss black rim/dish? Or gloss polished rim/dish?Ziggy wrote:d6dph wrote:Matt centre with a gloss rim could look mega
Thats the way I've been leaning... it would be different from all the multitudes of black with a polished rim wheels... and considering the car will be matt black by the end of this weekend I honestly think if I leave them shiny polished metal it will be wrong for the car..

How about matt black centre, then polish the rim and buy a tin of halfrauds rear light black tint and shadow chrome the rims
