DTM Cup mirrors

I'v seen these on a few e30's and think they suit the car perfectly. Anybody on here got any pictures of them on an e30? Just after seeing Geeman's sig with them in black and think it's a really good contrast. . .

I love mine,had to modify the mounts slightly tho because there was a small gap between the mirror and mount that i wasnt happy with.Soon sorted with some fibreglass and filler

Get some carbon fibre goodness in your life Dave... They really suit silver/dolphin cars imo, arent cheap tho

Good ones look awesome, crap ones look... well crap! You get what you pay for like anything else

These are mine up close. Like maxfield said, i love them but you really cant see much!

gotta agree, yours look mine, mine were rubbish, bodged on with self tappers, wrong colour, just basically wrong on all levels.

I think they look cool on yours to be honest!

Its worth mentioning that the mirrors on mine and jhonno's are not traditional dtm cup mirrors, they are 1992 spec group A M3 mirrors

not so bad on the pick but

they leaked air like a bitch, sounded like a tornodo in the cabin,
the paint was flaking off where hed sprayed onto th rubber seal.
wrong white by far.
not really very adjustable.

it goes on, they had to go,

i think the carbon ones look

on a dark car.

got to admit though mine looks loads better with the boxy 80s original imo

Ah fair enough, pics can often make things look better than they are!

To be fair i really like the look of the original mirrors too, i just fancied something a bit different that wouldnt look ott or chav ( i hope)

chavs cant afford carbon, they stick it on halfrauds stylee innit.
