you used to be able to get a spray window tint as well not sure if you still can. what about spraying it with rear light tint? not sure if that would work or not.

its a good idea but just think the texture wouldnt be good enough to last and would peel and flake off, it would be worth a go tho i think cuz cabby plastic screens are scrtach prone useless pieces of gash that can hardly be seen through anyway!!!

DIY tint on your's wouldn't work, a mate did it on a cabby, after putting it down once, you can guess, it turned to shite, bubbled and creased all over the place, there must be a professional way of doing it :?

I'd ring some of the hood manufacturers, see if they can't replace the window with something darker. Also try companies who make hoods for boats, seen lots of boats with dark plastic windows.

You realise that you'll only be able to tint the front side windows to 15%. (for it to be legal/MOT pass). I.e. the tint only reduces the light by 15%. I imagine if you want dark smoke, this is going to be somewhat, how do you say, 'tintier' than this. The solution to this, is that people tend just to tint their rear side windows, and the rear window itself.

Personally, I reckon it looks gash when the roofs down (and the windows are up). One dark window, followed by one normal window, and no roof. Just something to consider. I only say this because I've seen it on my mates mx5. It looked piss poor. Still, only an opinion.. If your willing to give the law two fingers and go tint happy on the front windows too, I've no doubt it will look epic

yes thats an interesting post zinders , i like it how you made a question up and answered it urself. an unusual one. nothing about an e30 is legal in my opinion, if u by a rapid one u can never stick to speed limits.............and if ur a keen modder then u always like to push the modifying boundrys of the policia............with that in mind...........get the middle one up and get them dark smokeys on... gona look pimp!
