Hi all,

Just wondering what you have all done for speakers in the front? I currently have some boston 5" in the stock mounting place running straight off my deck (4x50w apparently). I have some incredibly expensive 4" splits I got cheap off a mate who wrote off his car but it's a pain to try to install the 4" in a 5" location, plus they have a huge crossover that needs to be put somewhere. I want to install an amp but really don't want to have to run the wiring all the back to the back of the car and back again, plus I would like the car to look relatively stock..

Anyone have any clever ideas? :)

cheers,

Ben

far as can tell. if you want decent sound in the front you gotta go with door builds as 5inch just wont cut it.
will tell you in a week as thats what im about to do.

theres a good guide in the articles section from a guy who knows more than i ever will.

Mate if you want to put an amp in the front, the best place i reckon is under the front passenger side seat. Ive put mine there as its a medium sized amp, not too big as you wouldn't really be needing a large amp for small speaker. As for the speaker problem, you can get some MDF wood and make it so it fits the 5" size but with your speaker inside it, if that makes sense...
