WIDER TYRE ON 15" BBS

hi

i have 205/55/15's on my wheels. what is the next size tyre i can upgrade to. i like the wheels but can do with wider tyres.

215/50/15 would seem logical, unless anyone else has any ideas. I don't know how wide you can go on a 7x15" wheel, but I'd have thought that pretty soon any grip advantage you gain from the wider contact patch will be lost as the sidewall flexes and the tyre rolls over on itself under heavy cornering.

you can use 225/50/15's if you wish

I run 205/50-15 in the front and 225/50-15 in the rear, and it works great with no fitment/rubbing issues.
